I am excited to introduce you to Aprimus Diagnostics Inc., a pioneer in medical device technology. We are transforming traditional point-of-care (PoC) diagnostics with a new disposable tricoder reflectometer device and proprietary quantitative lateral flow assay (qLFA) test designed for diagnosing critical disease biomarkers. At Aprimus, we aim to revolutionize healthcare through cutting-edge diagnostic solutions that enhance patient care and greatly improve clinical outcomes. Over the past 5 years, we have made significant strides to design, calibrate, and manufacture our first flagship product, the D-dimer test. The test will identify and quantify the coagulation status of patients with deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE) within minutes and at a significant savings compared to similar laboratory tests. We have received a Notice of Allowance from the U.S. Patent office for the new device and chemistry technology and plan to begin clinical trials in 2024 & 2025.
